I Love the Gospel!

Church today was EXACTLY what I needed! I love days like this. I'd had an... interesting... night last night. I came home feeling not so great about some things, realizing I'd maybe made some not so great choices. I didn't sleep well at all and seriously considered not going to church so that I could maybe get some sleep. I eventually dragged myself out of bed, got ready and went, and I'm so glad that I did. I feel like Heavenly Father knew exactly what I needed to hear today. Everything from the talks in Sacrament Meeting, the hymns we sang, and the lessons in Sunday School and Relief Society were PERFECT. I feel so much better now. I'm grateful for the power of forgivness and repentance and that through our savior Jesus Christ, we can be made whole again.
As I'm reading through this I'm realizing that it makes it sound like something horrible happened, when really it wasn't. It was just overall something I kind of regret. At the same time though, I'm grateful for the experience. I definitely learned a lot from it and I can see how to make my life better because of it.

  1. I have had experiences like this often. Especially with small children, I tend to find excuses of why should I go to church, if I'm just going to spend the entire time in the hall, etc. Then to only find that even through the trips to the hall with screaming children, the talks that I get to hear, are things that have been on my mind. It's nice to know that Heavenly Father answers our unspoken prayers as well as the spoken ones. He truly knows the feelings and thoughts of our hearts. I'm glad you seem to be enjoying life in college. You are such a cutie and I enjoy reading about your "young" life. :)
